“Acapulco”, the new solo exhibition of the collective that for this occasion will confront with the MAR’s works of art.
The works of the collection will be transformed as they were digital materials of the net able to change their shape and context.
The artists re-contextualize the classical Renaissance imaginary in a new pulp key.Focus of this unusual transformation is the sensual movie reporting the love affairs of the “golden pullover dandy" Guidarelli. Brave divers will exhibit between Acapulco waves, hopeful in a rebirth.
The foolish but never collegiate tone of the artists seems to retrace in the spirit the strong and maybe forgotten Italian vulgar poetic tradition, able to tell in a witty and smart way contemporary reality without stooping to compromises with the power, also at the expenses of life.
